I started Georgetown Fitness Boot camp over 2 years ago and it has grown into an amazing community of people and success stories! I grew up as a very overweight child-miserable! I decided in my early twenties to get healthy.

I have lost over 100lbs as well as losing another 100lbs in pregnancy weight (3 children under 6-two are twins!)

I designed this program for one reason-to get results!
It is the most effective weight loss/conditioning program there is! I have been where you are and I can help you get to where you need to go.

I started boot camp in July of 2008; since I began I’ve lost over 20 lbs. My clothes that I’ve not fit into for a couple of years are now miraculously fitting me again. Carrie has supported me and guided me through my journey to achieving my goals. Carrie not only guided you through exercise but getting me on the right track on eating the right way again, this has changed the way I feel and look about my self. It honestly is life changing.

Boot camp is a fun and a great way to meet new friends, and getting your body in shape.  The best part of it all is that I did not starve my self, It has been through good old fashion exercise and watching what I eat. Boot camp has been a wonderful experience and will continue to be.

I have gotten amazing results from attending Carrie's boot camp! In the last year I have lost over 70 pounds, inches from every part of my body, and had remarkable fat reduction. I have also gained a lot! My energy levels have increased significantly and I have achieved a greater confidence in myself. I have never felt so good! I began bootcamp in May of this year. I have always been interested in it; I've seen snippets of bootcamp sessions on television and thought it would be a really great way to get into shape. Having someone there to encourage me, rather than having to rely on myself to get up off the couch and go for a jog, or to the basement to exercise seemed way more realistic to me. The opportunity to join Carrie's bootcamp came along and I just did it. "What can I lose?" I thought. Much to my surprise, I lost a lot! Of lethargy, fat, and self-loathing, that is! I can tell you that I've spent a lot of time looking for ways to get into shape, to find energy to last me the entire day, to look at myself in the mirror and say "Woman! You're looking good!" The ingredient that was missing in the past, I realized was that certain someone who encouraged me, pushed me to my greatest limits, someone who cared about me and wanted to help me get to the same goals I wanted to achieve for myself. That person is Carrie. She is no aeorbics queen. She is not the supersonic athlete that makes me feel so inferior. She is not so wrapped up into herself that she forgets who she is "helping" like so many other gym beauty queens I've met in the past. Carrie is a caring human being who genuinely wants what's best for each and every one of her clients. She knew all of us by name the very day we started. There were over 40 of us! I don't know how she does it, but I've been there for a solid six months and I have every intention of staying on for as long as I can. Carrie also has a sense of humour about her, a wit, that draws people in. The class is hard-core, but somehow we always manage to laugh at just about everything. This class is a perfect fit for me. I walk away 4 nights a week thinking how great I feel, how alive and energetic I feel every day at work, how much more effective I am at my job, and how much more confident I am when I walk. I cannot thank Carrie enough. She's completely changed my life, my self-perception, my energy level, and...my social life! I have made some great friends at bootcamp. I have also found a friend in Carrie.

Having never been much of a fitness fan I was skeptical of an outdoor workout and how effective it would be. My views have certainly changed! Never have I had such a fun and innovative workout as I have with Carrie’s boot camp. This program is addictive and I actually miss it when I can’t make a class. I didn’t think it was possible to change my shape and so quickly but this program has proven me wrong. We are all in the same boat and support one another when we think we can’t take another minute…lots of laughter helps too. Words are not enough to convey the unbelievable feeling I have since joining this program. Not only am I stronger and healthier than I have been in a long time the lasting friendships that have developed throughout this course I will cherish always. After spending last winter sitting on the couch eating pie, I ended up in the worst shape of my life, not to mention the heaviest I have ever been outside of when I was pregnant with my son, 18 years ago. Facing having to buy new clothes in yet another larger size (oh the horror) I knew I needed something or someone to whip me back into shape. So when I saw the flyer in the Independent for Milton Boot camp I thought it was worth a try. Since I used to be quite athletic it sounded like the appropriate challenge for me, both body and mind. THE RESULTS HAVE BEEN FANTASTIC!!!! The first month I lost 9 lbs!!!!!!! After 4 months I lost over 30lbs!! Went from a too tight size 12 to a just right size 6! I have a 27 inch waist! And I owe it all to Carrie. She is a super motivator and changes thing up so you never get bored. She remembers little things about you so she can yell encouraging comments to keep you going or push you to the next level. She even has the occasionally funny joke! The other boot campers also help to make it fun and challenging. I am so proud to be part of this special group and so happy Carrie was able to find some indoor locations so we can continue through the winter.

started boot camp in May, 2008 and am still at it. It's a kick butt workout but fun too and you'll always feel great after. Boot Camp is an awesome way to improve strength, lose weight, increase your energy level, feel more confident and just get healthy. I feel so much stronger than ever before and have lost over 20 pounds and many inches, with more to go. I feel more comfortable in my own skin and will continue this journey even after I have reached my goal. Carrie is very motivating and encouraging. I will never join another gym again...boot camp is the way to go.
